How Verkare AB (“Verkare”, “we”) handles personal data on krill.verkare.com and in the Krill beta, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

No analytics. No tracking. No ads. We set no cookies and load no third-party trackers.
The site is delivered via Cloudflare. To serve pages and block abuse, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request metadata in transit and in short-lived technical logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare, Inc. is a US company, so data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA; transfers are covered by its certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
If you email us
We process your email address and message to read and answer it. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). Correspondence is kept as long as the matter requires, or as law requires, then deleted.
The Krill beta
If you request beta access, we process your name, email address, organisation (if given), and the access code we issue — to run the beta: granting access, providing support, and sending essential beta notices such as security issues or the beta's expiry. Legal basis: performance of our agreement with you (Art. 6(1)(b)). We keep this for the duration of the beta and up to twelve months after it ends, or longer if law requires.
The plugin makes no network connections. Models, CAD data, and personal data stay on your machine. Diagnostics exist only on your machine unless you choose to email them to us. See the End-User License Agreement, section 5.
Email updates
If you sign up, we process your email address to send occasional Krill updates and the launch notice. We use it for no other purpose. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), confirmed by double opt-in. Withdraw it anytime via the unsubscribe link in every email. We keep your address until you unsubscribe.
MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Lithuania) sends these emails as our processor under a data processing agreement. Data is stored in the EU.

Your rights
